Is anyone else still working on recovering from having an extra day off of work? Monday was uber busy. Tuesday was a whirlwind. What happened to my day?? It was filled with work, hanging with my mother, running errands, taking a (extremely long) nap, and meeting up with some of my friends from back home. Sounds awesome, right? Right.
Wanna know what else is awesome? Fireworks! I love watching a good firework show. I think I actually watched about 4 different shows in less than 1 week. Our town has so many places that put on their own show and light up the sky.
Those fireworks were from one of the best firework shows I've ever seen before. The lights were launched from a barge in the bay and they looked so pretty reflecting off of the bay water. The following pictures are from our little community's fireworks on July 4th. Another great show over a cute public park next to the elementary school.
How did you spend your 4th of July? Did you catch any good firework shows or Independence Day celebrations? I hung out with my parents after working a 10-hour shift. I put on one of my favorite red & blue outfits and my mother, father & I took scooters to the firework show. Scooters are rad... We didn't have to sit in any of the post-show traffic.

Your outfit is amazing!! Glad you had a good 4th. Ours was rainy but still fun. And yes, I say there should always be an obligatory day off after a day off sanctioned for cleaning and grocery shopping and naps. We just need it!
