A few weeks ago, my beau and I had the pleasure of celebrating a monumental 1st birthday with a group of close friends. Little baby Leah turned 1 year old, had a big party in her honor, ate some cake, and opened lots of gifts. The event was photographed by my new friend, Kate Greenawalt, who was gracious enough to share a few photos with me!
The pinwheel theme was created and carried out flawlessly by Leah's talented mother, Val. Val asked me to make a few mason jar arrangements to scatter around their home and I was so excited. I cut some dusty miller, veronika, daisies, honeysuckle, and roses from my yard. I mixed the flowers with some leaves of fresh kale from the farm and - voila - super cute and simple arrangements for a baby girl's first birthday! The flower arrangements looked great next to Val's hand-made decorations.
