An beautiful and intimate wedding took place at The Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland early yesterday afternoon. The skies were heavy and grey, the beach was lined with fishermen, an interior conference room was transformed into a magical space, and Little Miss Lovely was busy planing centerpieces in the Verrazano Room. With a guest list of 50 of the bride and groom's favorite people, this wedding was sure to be a good time.
The bride carried a bouquet of teal-tipped hydrangea, teal-dyed orchids, stark white lilies, deep purple calla lilies, Picasso lilies, white callas & mauve roses. The slightly cascading shape was divine. The bridal bouquet was wrapped in turquoise ribbon and pinned with a silver starfish charm.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets similar to the bride's... a slightly smaller, more symmetrical, rounded shape was the perfect was to differentiate the maids from the bride. These bouquets were wrapped in mauve and purple ribbon.
The groom wore a single white rose paired with a teal-dyed orchid. His boutonniere was tied in turquoise ribbon to match his bride's bouquet.
His groomsmen wore white roses accented with purple mums. The groomsmen bouts were tied with purple ribbon to match the bridesmaid bouquets.
The mother & father of the bride coordinated perfectly. A white ranunculus & white orchid wrist corsage for the mother, a white rose and white orchid boutonniere for the father.
Due to the heavy grey clouds and scattered raindrops, the couple chose to move their wedding inside from the beach. An interior conference room was transformed into a magical ceremony location.
The centerpieces placed in the reception room were lovely. A blend of purple, mauve & white blooms were placed in square vases and short, cylindrical vases. A single turquoise ribbon was wrapped around the vase centered and pinned with a rhinestone accent. They matched the napkins perfectly!
