Amy and Evan are the kind of couple that you look at, immediately notice how gorgeous they are (for real, their kids will be stunning!), then see how they constantly go out of their way for each other, are full of kind words, and then make you want to squeeze your partner a little tighter and give them the warmest, kindest hug and kiss. Chaz introduced me to both Amy and Evan when we first starting dating a few years ago. He had grown up with the two of them. I am so thankful that he did because these two are some of our greatest friends and we share some awesome memories together. With that being said, I was beyond ecstatic to help with their wedding flowers. A blend of romance, art & whimsy -- those were the key words while planning this wedding. The ceremony took place under a dense tree-covered amphitheater at Pocomoke State Park. The reception was held at Longbranch Studio, the location of Evan and his father, the talented Kevin Fitzgerald, art studio and gallery. Amy and Evan collected glass pedestal vases, dozens of brass candle stick holders, chandeliers, and hurricane vases for use at their wedding. Paired with dark maroon, dusty pink, and ivory linens, the gold and brass accents were perfect! Everything compliment the couples style and setting nicely.
