Amanda and Seth were married at the Rackliffe Plantation House, a stunning historic estate that looks over the bay to Assateague Island, on a perfect Autumn day in late September.
Their wedding colors were lavender, peach, mint green & ivory.
The bride chose to create her own centerpieces using recycled wine bottles wrapped in jute twine and mason jars filled with sand. She ordered bulk flowers and, with the help of her bridesmaids and girlfriends, created her reception centerpieces herself. They turned out perfectly and set a rustic, laid-back theme when placed inside their reception tent.
Little potted succulents served as wedding favors. The tiny plants were placed in small terra cotta pots, surrounded by pebbles, and marked with hand-made flags so guests could locate their seats.
I helped Amanda with her bouquets. The bride carried a larger bouquet down the aisle. Her bouquet donned 6 large, heavy succulents that she could replant at home after their wedding to enjoy for months to come. Her bridesmaids carried smaller, petite bouquets containing peach roses, lavender, stock & greenery.
Congratulations, Amanda & Seth! Wishing you endless years of love, happiness & adventure!
