While cleaning out my filing cabinet last week, I found a folder that was bursting with inspiration. In fact, that green file folder was labeled "Future Home Inspiration". Quite fitting. It's days like today that make me realize why I'm living where I live. It's beautiful. It wouldn't be the same without the sunshine and shorelines. The JK Plant Farm, located just outside of Salisbury, MD, is a 12-greenhouse farm. Was a 12-greenhouse plant farm. This farm closed a few years ago. JK sold plants to wholesalers who would distribute them locally. There were remnant of their quality plants all over this place.The storage building on the property was still stocked with fruit baskets, holiday decorations, office supplies, Christmas tree stands, plastic pots, and more. I'm almost finished reading Water for Elephants. As soon as I heard about the film version of this story and its impeccable 1920's styling I ran to the library and requested the novel. It took me over 3 weeks to get the book in my hands. Apparently, I wasn't the only library-lover who also wanted to read this book before seeing the film. I have only a few pages to read until I've read every word from cover to cover. My favorite book (as of now).
