Tori & Scott's wedding was absolutely stunning! The bride and the groom, their families, and their friends put so much time and effort into making this day original and magical. Every single detail that could have possibly been customized, was catered to be just that. Every aspect of #scotttori2014 was perfect for the couple!
Tori and her thoughtful father, Tim, met with me 5 months prior to Scott and Tori's wedding date. It was an awesome consultation... You could tell that Tori knew exactly what she wanted and that Tim was a creative mastermind. They explained to me that they were in the process of creating sandcastle centerpieces that would somehow need to be outfitted with flowers... that's where I came into play.
The color scheme of this Ocean City, MD beach wedding was 'shade of coral and white and ivory'. The peachy, pinky, coral hues looked fantastic during the sunset ceremony on the beach and brought a romantic feeling to the atrium of the
Golden Sands.
Tori's bridal 'gals carried bouquets of coral roses, peach roses, white roses, coral peonies, coral berries & white stock. They were wrapped with coral ribbon and each featured a cute rhinestone brooch.
Tori's bouquet was nearly twice the size of her bridesmaid's. It was composed of several gorgeous coral charm peonies, fragrant white peonies, a blend of roses, berries, salt grass, succulents & lots of other abnormal flowers. Her bouquet was wrapped in thick coral ribbon with a single ivory ribbon and accented with a rhinestone covered sliver starfish.
A smaller bouquet, similar to the bride's, was used as a toss bouquet.
The groom wore a coral-tipped ranunculus boutonniere with rhinestone accents. Coral and ivory ribbons made for a perfect match with his bride.
The team of groomsmen wore coral-ish ranunculus bouts tied in thin coral ribbons to match the bridesmaid's bouquets.
The father's of the bride and groom wore boutonnieres of ivory ranunculus, dusty miller, bunny tails & berries wrapped in ivory ribbon.
The mother's wore gorgeous rhinestone wrist corsages.
In her hair the bride wore a large coral charm peony.
The beach east of the Golden Sands Condominiums looked stunning decked out in wedding garb! The sun set behind the towering building shortly before the ceremony and the winds were whipping at 40 MPH!! It was quite crazy and I was holding my breath and praying that the flower arrangements held up until the ceremony was complete... and they did. Thank goodness!
A pomanders of coral and white mums lined the aisle. Silver shepherds hooks were placed every-other row to hold the flower balls. The end of the aisle was marked with a few strands of ribbon and saved for the bridal party's entrance. Two coral astilble plants were potted in urns and placed at the entrance. Coral and white rose petals were lining the inner aisle and blowing in the wind.
A large spray was placed atop the white arbor. I swear I used about 200 white wire-ties to adhere this arrangement to the archway in fear of it blowing away! It might have looked a little wind-blown, but it was still beautiful. An arrangement of peach hydrangeas and coral peonies matched the arbor arrangement and was placed on the table designated for the sand/unity ceremony.
The couple's cocktail hour was initial planned to be held at the outdoor bar next to the dunes. Due to the high winds and dropping temperatures, it was decided that the guests would head straight up to the atrium (on the 22nd floor) where they would enjoy cocktails and appetizers. An awesome seating chart created using 'messages in a bottle' welcomed the guests. The bride and groom created this neat display.
The atrium was decorated in coral curtains, ivory tulle sheers, white linens & tons and tons of flowers.
The sandcastle centerpieces were spectacular! Definitely a one-of-a-kind wedding decoration! The bride's father created the sand and seashell covered bases. Each base had a reservoir in the bottom that held water for the single stems of flowers place evenly across the base to lead the eye to the focal point - the sandcastle outfitted with a tiny bride and groom!
Sprays of tropical monstera leaves, tall gladiolus, peach hydrangeas & colorful roses were laid across the gift table. Wreaths of dried wisteria vines, made by the bride's mother, were hung on the walls.
An arrangement of peonies was placed on the cake table next to a towering structure filled with cupcakes by
Cupcakes in Bloom.

It was an incredible feeling to help make your visions come to life, Tori! I would do it all again in a heartbeat. I am so happy that I was able to be a part of your wedding day, help fluff your dress before you walked down the aisle, and shake your father's hand and say 'She's finally married!' as he stared at you with the proudest look upon his face. Your wedding day was truly magical! Congratulations & happy honeymooning!
