Floydfest 2014 was incredible. The energy, crowds, bands, food, the setting... everything was incredible. I spent a few days in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains enjoying some of the best live music I have ever heard. Some of my favorites were the Hackensaw Boys, Buddy Guy, Michael Franti, Ben Harper, Mighty Joshua, & Ancient Cities - just to name a few. We had a prime campsite that was centrally located and we made it look super cute with batik buntings, flower garlands, tapestries, and t-shirt rugs.
To say I had a good time would be saying the least.
I put together several flower crowns for the festival. Some of them made their way home with new Little Miss Lovely fans. I received so many compliments about these flower crowns and am so happy that others could enjoy them, as well.
You know you've got a good crown of flowers when you can sign up to become a bone marrow donor, climb a faux rock wall, put your face in a beer advertisement, and do a jig to some bluegrass music while wearing one.
Cheers to Floydfest for another great year of entertainment and memories! Looking forward to next year's festival already. Thank you to everyone who purchased an LML flower crown. I hope you wear your crown often!
