A private, backyard wedding took place along the bay in Fenwick Island last Saturday. Audrey & Chris tied the knot at the groom's parent's home and from what I've seen - the celebration was filled with SO MUCH LOVE and happiness that it brought a tear to my eye.
Audrey was one of the most pleasant bride's I've ever had the pleasure of working with. From our initial phone call about her flowers to every follow-up email... She was so nice and so excited about everything.
The colors of the wedding were ocean/sea blue, ivory and the flowers were used to bring other colors into the event. The bride's bouquet was a combination of light yellow, peach, pale pink, dusty grey & ocean blue. The bridesmaid bouquets had touches of ivory mixed throughout. Little dried white starfish were used to accent the bouquets and flower pieces.
The groom wore a boutonniere made of a peach rose, a yellow billy ball and a small air plant. His bout was tied with an ivory ribbon to match his bride's bouquet.
The groomsman wore a boutonniere similar to the groom's - except tied with ocean blue ribbon.
The bride's bouquet was fun, colorful & youthful. I loved the playfulness of this piece. I tucked a few air plants and starfish into the mix as keepsakes.
As I was taking photos of these gorgeous flowers, my poor camera had a 'fatal error' and my camera card went bad... it figures, right? I was all into taking photos and then - bam - camera wreckage. The problem has been resolved now, but I didn't get nearly as many photos of Audrey's pretty bouquets, flower crowns & corsages as I had hoped to.
I can't wait to see more photos from your wedding, Audrey! Congratulations to you and your new husband. I am so happy for you. Cheers!
