Of all the soft, feminine & romantic bouquets I've made before... this one may have trumped all the others! A blend of 5 varieties of roses, billowy pink ranunculus, soft pink lisianthis, fragile astilbe & greenery consisting of dusty miller, baby eucalyptus and silver brunia... a girl's dream come true in one bouquet.
The bouquet was tied with medium-pink ribbon. A strand of vintage lace was tied around the stems and a grey ribbon was added to match the groom's boutonniere.
The groom wore a small buttonhole boutonniere made of a single pink ranunculus, two strands of pink astilbe, a dusty miller leaf & a baby lissy bloom. The grey ribbon tie matched the bride's bouquet.
Roxana & Chris said their vows at the Fenwick Island Baptist Church in Selbyville, DE. Two full and rounded pedestal arrangements were placed upon the church alter. A sprinkling of pink rose petals were placed on the alter, as well.
The Restaurant at Lighthouse Sound was transformed into a quaint reception location for 40 of the newlywed's family members and close friends.
The sweetheart table was adorned with a single small flower arrangement placed in a rectangular clear vase.
All other tables were marked with over-flowing arrangements of roses, hydrangea, astilbe, ranunculus, eucalyptus & lissy.
A little romance was added to the fireplace in the center of the dining room. A whimsical garland of plumosa fern and eucalyptus was placed on the fireplace stoop as well as on the mantle. An arrangement of blossoms sat upon the stone hearth.
This cake was absolutely gorgeous! The details were phenomenal. The art-deco influence was so perfect.
