  This weekend, the Ocean City Center for the Arts will be in full bloom! The month of May is filled with exhibits, classes & demonstrations relating to flowers. Saturday & Sunday, May 16 - 17, is Art in Bloom weekend from 11 am - 4 pm each day. Local florists, including Little Miss Lovely Floral Design, will compete in a flower show inspired by the artwork from the exhibit. Each flower arrangement will be on display next to the designers chosen piece of artwork. Visitors can participate in the weekend's free art activities and vote for their favorite floral arrangement. Classes and activities include a ceramic flower event, watercolor demonstrations, & a tour of artist studios on site. Other events are listed on the Art League's website. [caption id="attachment_8812" align="alignleft" width="225"] Love in Bloom by Bebe Antonini[/caption]   Little Miss Lovely was inspired by a colorful watercolor painting titled Love in Bloom by Bebe Antonini. Using Antonini's painting as inspiration, I will be creating a 3D version of medium using fresh cut flowers. I can't wait to start designing this masterpiece!
