v + d wedding

5/15/15 at 5:15 pm: The date and time that a wedding took place on the beach in Rehoboth on the most gorgeous spring day... but it wasn't just any wedding. It was a surprise wedding! A surprise to the bride, even! On the day of the grand opening of Little Miss Lovely's West Ocean City flower shop, Vicki stopped by to check out my new place and tell me that she was getting married and that she wanted me to help with her flowers. I was so excited for her and so eager to help with her wedding flowers. She had told me she envisioned a mixture of daisies and yellow flowers with a splash of deep teal. She wanted a really simple bouquet that wasn't very fussy. Fast forward a few months and Vicki had written to tell me that they had decided to put the wedding on hold for a little while and that she would let me know if they would still need wedding flowers. Little to her knowledge, her amazing fiancé, Diana, emailed me less than a week later saying that the wedding was still on and that she was, for sure, in need of flowers. We decided to use a blend of pom daisies, chamomile daisies, tiny yellow bikini roses, mini gunni eucalyptus & a few yellow billy balls while creating this couples wedding items. Vicki's bouquet was wrapped in teal ribbon and pinned with a little sand dollar charm. Diana wore a yellow rose boutonniere accented with chamomile and eucalyptus greens. It was wrapped in a teal ribbon to match her bride's bouquet. A small silver starfish charm was tied onto the boutonniere. Five other individuals were recognized during the ceremony. They each wore little yellow bikini rose boutonnieres that coordinated with the couple's flowers. Diana sent me these gorgeous photos the day after they tied the knot. I was so happy when I opened my email and saw them! Gorgeous. Look at how happy these two are! Thank you for sharing these photos with me, Diana! Congratulations, guys!
