This past weekend, in the company of family and friends, I celebrated becoming the future Mrs. Jachimski. I am so very thankful to be surrounded by so much love. I'd first like to say thank you to all who atteneded, traveled to Ocean City & to those who helped make this day memorable.
As most of you would suspect, I couldn't say no to creating a themed-shower. I designed and printed invitations that mimicked small black chalkboards covered in fancy writing and a floral design. With a color scheme of black, white, pale pink & hot pink, I transitioned the invitation design into room decor.
A vintage garden theme revolving around kitchen items set the tone for the bridal shower. Old cheese graters, a Kitchen Aid stand up mixer, and wooden spoons were used in the centerpieces. Garden roses, peonies, stock & various greens were incorporated into the centerpieces. Thickly weaved baskets, chargers & moss covered placemats and decorative balls dotted the tables.
A large ballon arch was created using more than 200 balloons. The archway was used as a photo backdrop and added the perfect amount of whimsy and playfulness to the shower. Eucalyptus greenery and Italian ruscus vines were tucked into the archway framework to add an organic softness. A few stems of fresh flowers were also incorporated into the balloon archway inspired by The House that Lars Built.
Thank you, Sarah Murray Photography, for taking such beautiful photos! Jessica & the folks at Waterman's Seafood Company really know how to cater a party! Thank you, to my future in-laws for throwing such a nice event!
I am feeling like the most blessed girl in the world. I am so thankful to have been showered with love and so many gifts this week. Chaz & I greatly thank the Shutt, Jachimski & Reist families and my amazing friends for your support and blessings! Only 3 more weeks until we are married!
