Megan and Bryan celebrated their wedding day just hours after Hurricane Joaquin had cleared the coast of Maryland. The hurricane and the following nor'easter didn't damped the spirits of the individuals who helped Megan and Bryan celebrate their nuptials and new title... the newlyweds!
Megan, Bryan and their families had planned to have an outdoor ceremony at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club. The weather caused us to move everything inside the venue... but I that being inside in the dim lighting with candles flickering throughout the room made their ceremony even more romantic.
The bride chose to have her mother stand beside her as her Matron of Honor as well as her best friend, Allison. Megan & Bryan's wedding party was composed of childhood friends, college friends and family members. The girls carried loose bouquets filled with lacy flowers, peach roses, and juliet garden roses. The groomsmen wore boutonnieres featuring white ranunculus. The bride's bouquet was a show stopper!
A large archway of fresh greenery and florals transitioned from the ceremony and became the backdrop behind the sweetheart table during the wedding reception. Each table featured a small shadow box filled with flowers. Some tables had these jewelry box-like shadow boxes paired with a small arrangement and other tables had larger shadow boxes with greenery, florals and pearls cascading outwards. Each centerpiece was dripping in gold glitter. Gold mercury glass votive candles added extra sparkle.
Congratulations, Megan & Bryan! Thank you so much for including me in your wedding day. Your family was so welcoming and I had the best time working with you, your aunt, uncle, & mother. I hope that you have the most joy filled marriage.
