Public Landing Road

This house looked so lonely. No worries, little house. It's your lucky day. Sandi & I are here to keep you company for a few minutes. By the way, I think that your blue shingles are gorgeous. This house was standing at the end of a grassy lane on Public Landing Road, surrounded by budding corn and not much of anything else. In a few more weeks this house will only be peeking out of a large corn field.Outfit details: Found this dress 2 years ago at a thift shop. It's something I normally wouldn't pick up, but the fabric was speaking...

Paw Paw Creek Road

A little bit of dreamy-ness to enchant your Monday morning! I felt like Alice in Wonderland while exploring this over-grown property. This home, barn, and land is for sale by a private owner outside of Snow Hill, MD. It looks as though whoever lived here stored their life-long collections, created a beautiful garden, and enjoyed living in the country. I'd assume so, at least. The barn was falling apart but the lush green foliage around it felt almost as though it were supporting the rustic red structure. Very dreamy. The gardens were over grown with day lilies, trumpet vines, and grapes! I don't think...

S & J Villari

Have you ever wondered what an abandoned livestock mill looks like? I never did either. I'm assuming that this is where pigs were raised, boarded, and shipped off to 'you-know-where'. This mill is no longer functioning and abandoned. It's located right next to the rail road tracks in Snow Hill, MD. Guess the livestock was transported all over the place via the rails. I drove past this building a few times, tried to figure out what exactly it was, and then one day walked behind the building and saw the large 'S & J Villari Livestock Co.' sign on the side...

Taylor Road

I am in love with this location. I feel as though it's the perfect combination of blue skies, green wild flowers, gold grasses, and rust-colored remnants. The scenery at this spot off of Taylor Road, where an old farmstead had been, is a photographer's dream. I accidentally found this place (& accidentally got poison patches on my shins, also). I noticed a lonesome brick chimney standing by a decaying old red shed with a rusted tin roof. I had to stop to take some pictures. There was a house down by the entrace of the dirt driveway and I was...

10 Things I Love

Has it really been over 3 weeks since I posted the last 10 Things I Love? I can't believe I've been slacking in the "love" department! These things are extra lovely just since I have obviously been stock piling things to adore over the past few weeks...1.) This print by Lauren Carney reminds me of Sandi & I. She's my furry little best friend that goes everywhere with me, shares my snacks, and keeps me company. She really loves to lick out my bowls when I'm finished eating ice cream, too. (& I really can relate to that silly girl with red hair, glasses,...
