Weekend Recap

Hello, lovelies! I feel like it's been forever since I've been on this little blog... only 3 days in reality. It's been a hectic weekend filled with working and goofing off with my friends. "Cruisin' Weekend"  in Ocean City has officially ended and all of the retro-inspired fun brought to our town has come to a close. Trust me, I love this weekend and took full advantage of its festivities. Here are a few pictures from my iPhone to recap:That pretty pinup is my friend, Tracy, doesn't she look like a bombshell?! I'm working on putting together lots of picture-filled...

At the Harbor

The New Hope is sinking. She's been like this for at least 2 months now. Every time I see this boat I hope that she's either completely submerged by now or that someone would pluck her out of the water and fix her leaks. Unfortunately, I think she's just hanging on to this poor old pier. I'd love to see New Hope with some extra hope in her life. I'm not exactly certain about what's causing this vessel to take on water. Maybe it was just her time. The New Hope has been in and out of our local commercial...

Future House: Bathroom

Wouldn't it be nice to get ready for your day in any of these bathrooms? I would be simply overjoyed. Maybe in my future house some day? That'd be extremely nice. It'd be even better to have a beautiful bathroom like this attatched to a peaceful master bedroom.Seems as though I'm attracted to claw-foot bathtubs, tile, intricate mirrors, pedistal sinks, and pops of color. What would you like to have in your bathroom? (Besides a stock piling of all of your favorite beauty supplies!)I'm off to my first day at my summer job. Wish me luck... I've been dreading this...

St. Martin's Church

My dad went exploring with me today. Having him visit is pretty cool. I took him to the historic St. Martin's Church this afternoon. I visited this national historic landmark about 3 months ago. During that visit, the church wasn't actually open. Today, I actually got to venture inside to check out this preserved site.   Today was the first day the church has been open for visitors since the end of last season. The St. Martin's Church was built 20 years prior to the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1756. 255 years later, and this building is still a site...

10 Things I Love

1.) This shop on Etsy has the most lovely collection of vintage dresses I've ever seen in one place. I wish I could afford to have everyone of these little bitties hanging in my closet. They're all so pretty and one-of-a-kind. I'm in awe, honestly. 2.) I'm a huge jewelry freak... I make it for goodness sake, but I don't wear much of it. I have a few items that I refer to as my signatures (the silver mermaid that's been on my left hand for 4 years, the toe ring on my long toe for 6 years, the CZ...
