I've got some awesome news for ya'all... I've been planting flowers at The Good Farm in an attempt to bring the Eastern Shore freshly grown, freshly picked, local flowers all Spring and Summer long! When I decided to enter the florist business late last year, I did some research to learn a little more about flower growing on the Mid-Atlantic shore. After reading blog after blog, after scouring Google Maps for hours, and after checkout the flower farm options in other cities, I realized that the Ocean City / Berlin / Salisbury area had nothing of the sort! Just wanted to say thank you to all who came out to visit Little Miss Lovely at the Salisbury Festival yesterday! I had such a nice time meeting new folks, creating flower arrangements, watching belly dancers, making gorgeous flower crowns, hanging out with friends, and seeing the joy in a few ladies eyes when their cute boyfriends/husbands/friends picked up a few flowers for them.   I was a terrarium-making machine today! After seperating some succulants, ferns, and small houseplants I went outside to pluck some lichens from my trees and dug some moss out of my front yard (since moss is all I can grow in my sandy Easter Shore yard - I'm sure it will grow back in no time!) I created and arranged some fresh terrariums to sell at the Salisbury Festival this Saturday! Details listed in the caption of each photo. Last night, several beautiful ladies joined Little Miss Lovely for a 'Create Your Own Spring Arrangement' workshop at The Globe in Berlin, MD. It was a blast. We spent some time learning about floristry tools, I shared some secret tricks of the trade, and then arranged some flower masterpieces. The goal for the class was to learn how to take freshly cut flowers from your garden or yard, prepare them, and then create an arrangement to display in your home. The girls brought quite the variety of flowers from their yards and it was great to see a few whimsical...

Things are blooming, the raised beds are colorful, bees are pollinating, and my flowers are loving it!
