Trampled by Turtles is a fast pickin’ bluegrass band that has been quickly climbing the list of my favorite bands. I was in heaven on Saturday when I got a chance to watch (& photograph) this inspiring band in Philadelphia. The instruments, a guitar, acoustic bass, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle, resonated sharply through the venue. The show took place at a beautiful new venue called Union Transfer. I really like clothes. I like to mix vintage finds, mended items, and more modern items when putting together an outfit. Most of the time, my outfits are picked out last minute in my rush to drink coffee, eat some oatmeal, walk the dog, get ready, and manage to make it to work on time.
