deep red, gold sparkle & neutral ivory inspiration
One of the biggest goals while planning your wedding should be trying to incorporate you and your fiancés’ personalities into your wedding day. You want all of your wedding guests to walk into your reception space and say “Oh my gosh… this is so them!”. There are plenty of ways to incorporate your personality into your centerpieces and tables capes. Metallics, sequins, and rich colors are in trend for 2016 and so many brides want to incorporate these trends into their wedding decor. How can you mix these trends with your personality? For a couple that wants a romantic, chic, lush feel but with a laid-back, family-style table setting:
Incorporate neat place settings with fun dishes, a funky charger, or mis-matched china dinnerware. Every home has a cabinet filled with mis-match dishes. Providing mis-matched china plates will make your guests feel right at home and give them something to talk about! My husband and I used mis-matched china plates at our own wedding and I loved seeing our guests comparing dishes while in the buffet line.
Love the look of sequin table cloths but don’t have the budget? Lay a sequin table runner down the center of your table to add sparkle and interest.
Add favors that your guests can enjoy for months or years after your wedding. Tiny potted succulents are perfect for this and cost about $3.50 per favor.
Add glitter to your candles and table numbers! Mod Podge can be a brides best friend and a great way to add some glitz.
Use vintage and antique brass vases and candleholders for your floral arrangements. An array of shapes and sizes of containers placed in the center of your table can create a beautiful centerpiece.
Add lots of candles for a twinkle that will leave your reception space covered in a glowing romantic sparkle.
With this deep red, ivory and gold tablescape, the floral arrangements are a show stopper. The full arrangements are filled with a mixutre of lush blooms, full flowers, and represent opulence and luxury. The pop of pale pink adds a little femininity and softness next to the moody red blooms and neutral ivory tones. Cascading and flowing greens add a garden-style element that helps the design feel more relaxed. This tablescape was designed by Little Miss Lovely. Custom succulent favors and picks available from LML, too. These photos were taken at the 2016 Lighthouse Sound Bridal Show this past weekend. To say that the event was absolutely beautiful would be an understatement. 2016 is going to be so good and so glam! xoxo - Ami
