ringing in 2015 with a retail location!

To sum up 2014: A newly renovated at-home studio and garage workshop, 42 beautifully romantic weddings, 198 stunning bouquets, 220 blossoming boutonnieres, 6 memorial services that touched my heart, 1 fuzzy labradoodle by my side, more than 20,000 miles for deliveries, one dazzling engagement ring placed on my left hand, a beyond supportive fiancé and family, countless clients that I now call my friends, and one big flower-covered dream that keeps me going. To celebrate the beginning of 2015: A new retail location for Little Miss Lovely! This past year has been absolutely incredible. I’ve poured my heart, soul, and every ounce of creativity...

[caption id="attachment_8168" align="aligncenter" width="560"] photo by McCarthy Imagerie.[/caption] When working on wedding plans with an art teacher and a professional cook, I knew to expect things that were a little zany and totally unique... I couldn't have asked for Stephanie & Joe's wedding day to be any more creative and filled with love than it turned out to be. As a professional in a creative industry, I had looked forward to doing this art teachers wedding for nearly an entire year. There are so many neat possibilities when it comes to planning a winter wedding. The bride's vision included bridesmaid dresses of various pastel colors: sage, clover, periwinkle, pale blue, and lavender with silver sparkles. Each bridesmaid bouquet...

Keeping a secret is a hard task... especially when it includes one of your favorite couples and really beautiful flowers! On a moody, grey Friday afternoon earlier this month, Keyanna & Daniel exchanged vows during a small, at-home ceremony lead by the bride's father. Surrounded by a small group of family and friends, these two shared a beautiful moment that they will never forget. They eloped and then flew to a warm island to honeymoon! Keyanna's bouquet was gorgeous. It was loose, romantic, and filled with large blooms arranged in a 'just-picked' manner. A long champagne-colored ribbon tied the bouquet...

christmas at kyle edward fine jewelry

Kyle Edward Fine & Custom Jewelry is decked out for the holidays! I spent yesterday afternoon outfitting the store in evergreens and gold decor - just in time for the holidays. Glittery gold accents and fresh greenery seemed like the perfect fit for a jewelry store. A boxwood wreath marked with a shiny gold bow looks so nice next to a skinny pencil tree topped with a gold bow. An assortment of red, gold, and silver ornaments and Christmas balls look extra glitzy next to cut and dried baby's breath, thin pheasant feathers & peacock feathers. Clear cylindrical vases were filled with...
