I have been looking forward to Alex & Brandon's wedding since the day Brandon proposed. My fingers were crossed that the two would choose Little Miss Lovely as their wedding florist... Only a few weeks later, I received an email from Alex asking if I was available on their wedding date. She also sent me a link to her 'Dream Wedding' Pinterest page. I clicked the link and scrolled through all 3,000 pins on her wedding page! She had been planning this wedding for years and knew exactly what she wanted. I was beyond excited to help bring this couple's...

I have always believed that dark, cloudy skies make for the neatest wedding backdrops and photographs filled with movement... Chelsey & Josh may have the best grey sky wedding photos, ever! Their September wedding took place on a super windy, grey, rainy day. The Ocean Pines Yacht Club provided the perfect setting for their exchange of vows and reception that turned into a giant dance party. The couple and their guests braved the outdoor elements and decided to do a very sweet, short ceremony outside on the OP Yacht Club deck. The winds were gusting at 40 mph but that...

Megan and Bryan celebrated their wedding day just hours after Hurricane Joaquin had cleared the coast of Maryland. The hurricane and the following nor'easter didn't damped the spirits of the individuals who helped Megan and Bryan celebrate their nuptials and new title... the newlyweds! The bride chose to have her mother...

Kelsie and Bryant's wedding took place on a beautiful, crisp fall day. They exchanged vows over looking to beautiful Patuxent River next to a quaint cottage at Historic Sotterley Plantation in Hollywood, MD. This area of Maryland was absolutely beautiful. I had the best time exploring bot the plantation and nearby Solomon's Island on the day of the wedding. Kelsie wore a gorgeous white, strapless gown and her bridesmaids wore flowy turquoise dresses. The groom and groomsmen wore grey suits with vests and turquoise ties. The color scheme for the event was turquoise, silver and white. After meeting with Kelsie and...

d + d wedding

Being a bride on your wedding day during a coastal hurricane / nor'easter isn't the easiest role to play, but Dawn filled that role in the most kind, most relaxed way possible. She was so collective and so excited to be marrying the love of her life last weekend that she wasn't going to let anything dampen her spirits. Dawn, thank you for being such an amazing bride and client! Dawn and Doug had planned an October wedding that was to take place on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Hurricane Joaquin had decided to show up for the couples'...
