A bohemian beach wedding in the presence of your closest family and friends... sounds perfect, does't it? Last Thursday, Lauren and Tommy tied the knot on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. The bride requested a non-traditional, garden-style bouquet filled with wildflowers. She didn't want traditional white roses and was looking for something a little more funky. I created her bouquet using locally grown snapdragons, zinnias, chamomile, and solidago. White astilbe, veronica & seeded eucalyptus added texture. Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to help transform a beautiful backyard of a local Ocean City-area family... all for a wedding ceremony and reception! Brookes and Neil tied the knot in the backyard of a stunning home on the Fourth of July. The view of the bay was nothing but extraordinary. With a color scheme of dark purple, grey & silver, the couple chose to incorporated calla lilies, picasso lilies, lavender roses, plum orchids, purple hydrangea & deep purple stock flowers into their wedding day.
