A cheerful blend of local sunflowers, large pink aster, pink peruvian lilies, yellow yarrow and white hydrangeas made for a few gorgeous flower arrangements at a recent bridal shower. Several of the arrangements were created in plastic trays and were placed into antique vases, urns & bowls at the hosts' home. Sandi Doodle really wanted to model as I was snapping photos. To celebrate their golden anniversary, the couple - along with 130 guests - said “I do” at the First Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland. Floydfest 2014 was incredible. The energy, crowds, bands, food, the setting... everything was incredible. I spent a few days in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains enjoying some of the best live music I have ever heard. Some of my favorites were the Hackensaw Boys, Buddy Guy, Michael Franti, Ben Harper, Mighty Joshua, & Ancient Cities - just to name a few. We had a prime campsite that was centrally located and we made it look super cute with batik buntings, flower garlands, tapestries, and t-shirt rugs.
